The seasons are talking.

We now have complete regular-season weekly scores for 2023, 2024 and 2025. Rather than claiming that the biggest scoring team was necessarily the best managed, STAN compares production with matchup outcomes and the league-wide all-play baseline.

02 / STAN Analytics · METHODOLOGY

The Luck Court finally has evidence.

The historical schedule differential compares each team’s actual head-to-head results to the expected wins implied by its weekly scoring against every other team. It isolates a schedule-related gap, not a manager’s decision-making ability.

Editorial callout: A positive schedule differential is not proof of “good luck” in every individual game. It is a reproducible, season-wide description of results against alternative opponents.
Exact all-play methodology

All-play expected wins: for each week, compare a team's points to the other 11 rosters (a tie counts as half a win), add those comparisons, then divide by 11. Schedule differential = actual matchup wins (ties count as half) minus expected wins. Positive values indicate a more favorable realized head-to-head record than the all-play baseline. This is descriptive, not a measure of manager skill.

03 / The boundary of the evidence

The Sleeper era begins in 2023.

Standard & Friends moved to Sleeper in 2023. STAN historical coverage deliberately begins with that migration, not with the league’s original founding year. Historical roster IDs are season-specific; STAN does not equate identical roster numbers across seasons with the same manager. 2026 current standings and ongoing matchups remain in the live Daily Desk.
